About Me

Hi, I’m Amelia, thank you for being here.

My passion for nutrition began at an early age when I felt called to work in the health sciences field in high school. My pursuit to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) felt organic and intuitive as I was highly interested in science, nutrition and experimenting in the kitchen.

After graduating in 2014 from the UBC dietetics program and working clinically for 3 years in a busy hospital I felt I needed something more, both from an educational perspective and from an offering perspective. I felt I wasn’t quite done learning, and wanted to expand my knowledge, deeper, into the body. Massage Therapy was the perfect addition to my nutrition practice as I gained more insight into how the body works while also developing skills to provide a non-invasive form of care. I was able to move back home to Victoria, from the Interior of BC where I was working as an RD, and begin my massage therapy training at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.

Completing two programs before the age of 28 was a journey, however I fondly look back at my time spent as a student. I have made life long friendships and have been taught by some incredible teachers.

I truly love what I do and am grateful to work so closely with so many people who trust me with their care.

Outside of work I enjoy long distance running, cooking and baking and spending time with close friends and family.
